Responding to Marriages in Crisis

The Secret Ingredient

What’s the secret ingredient to saving marriages?

The Church

Our culture sees life from a “me-first” perspective. Your church is uniquely positioned to build a “family-first” marriage culture in your community.

God Designed Churches to Do Exactly This

But most don’t have a dedicated marriage ministry or clear strategy for strengthening the marriages in their pews.

That’s where we come in.

What People Are Saying

We went through a season where every day, for two weeks straight, we heard about a new couple whose marriage was at risk. We didn't have a formal marriage discipleship plan, and it all became overwhelming.

With help from the Arkansas Marriage Initiative, we formed a marriage discipleship team. Since then, we’ve been able to invest in couples and minister to those who have reached out for help. Now some of those at-risk couples are plugged in and serving in our church!

Nick Calaway

Pastor, Holland Chapel Baptist Church

The AMI team has introduced us to excellent marriage resources. The Grace Marriage Cohort that they helped us launch a year and a half ago continues to strengthen the marriages of multiple couples in our church. Two couples from that cohort have even joined our marriage ministry team.

Brian Devine

Elder, Crosspointe Church

Several years ago, I felt led to start a marriage ministry at our church. We had some struggling marriages and knew we needed something. I attended an AMI event and learned several ways churches can really step up in this area. We started a marriage small group session and saw 20+ couples take steps to improve their marriages.
